1:1 I, Nephi, having been born of goodly parents, therefore I was taught

12:17 And the mists of darkness are the temptations of the devil which blindeth the eyes, and hardeneth the hearts
13:12 beheld a man among the Gentiles, who was separated from the seed of my brethren
13:16 the Gentiles who had gone forth out of captivity did humble themselves before the Lord
13:19 the Gentiles that had gone out of captivity were delivered by the power of God

18:18 because of the iniquity of my brethren, they were brought near even to be carried out of this time

1:23 Shake off the chains with which ye are bound, and come forth out of obscurity,

2:4 And the way is prepared from the fall of man, and salvation is free.
2:5 And men are instructed sufficiently that they know good from evil

9:25 where there is no law given there is no punishment;
9:27 that transgresseth them, and that wasteth the days of his probation, for awful is his state
9:28 When they are learned they think they are wise, and they hearken not unto the counsel of God
9:29 but to be learned is good if they hearken unto the counsels of god
9:30 their hearts are upon their treasures; wherefore, their treasure is their God
9:31 wo unto the deaf that will not hear; for they shall perish
9:32 Wo unto the blind that will not see; for they shall perish also
9:39 Remember to be carnally-minded is death, and to be spiritually minded is life eternal.
9:41 and there is none other way save it be by the gate; for he cannot be deceived, for the Lord God is his name
9:42 the learned, and they that are rich, who are puffed up because of their learning.
9:51 do not spend money for that which is of no worth, nor your labor for that which cannot satisfy
9:52 pray unto him continually by day, and give thanks unto his holy name by night.
10:13 And he that fighteth against Zion shall perish, saith God.
10:14 and I will be a light unto them forever, that hear my words.
10:23 ye are free to act for yourselves--to choose the way of everlasting death or the way of eternal life
10:24 after ye are reconciled unto God, that it is only in and through the grace of God that ye are saved
11:8 Now these are the words, and ye may liken them unto you and unto all men.
12:22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for wherein is he to be accounted
13:9 the show of their countenance doth witness against them

24:13 For thou hast said in thy heart; I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God
24:20 the seed of evil doers shall never be renowned
25:2 I, Nephi, have not taught them many things concerning the manner of the Jews; for their works were works of darkness
25:17 Wherefore, he will proceed to do a marvelous work and a wonder among the children of men
25:20 there is none other name given under heaven save it be this Jesus Christ...whereby man can be saved.
25:23 for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do

26:4 all those who are proud, and that do wickedly, the day that cometh shall burn them up

26:30 which charity is love and except they should have charity they were nothing.
26:31 the laborer in Zion shall labor for Zion; for if they labor for money they shall perish

27:25 this people draw near unto me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me.
27:32 And they that make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him

28:6 for this day he is not a God of miracles; he hath done his work
28:7 Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die;
28:8 nevertheless, fear God - he will justify in committing a little sin; yea, lie a little
28:14 in many instances they do err because they are taught by the precepts of men.
28:15 the learned, and the rich, that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts
28:16 In that day that they are fully ripe in iniquity they shall perish.
28:20 and stir them up to anger against that which is good.
28:21 thus the devil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell
28:22 and he saith unto them; I am no devil, for there is none.
28:24 Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion!
28:27 wo be unto him that saith: We have received and we need no more!
28:30 I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept
28:31 the precepts of men, save their precepts shall be given by the power of the Holy Ghost
29:2 my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people
29:3 A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible
29:7 Know ye not that there are more nations than one?
29:8 Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you
29:9 because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another
30:2 as many of the Gentiles as will repent are the covenant people of the Lord
30:10 For the time speedily cometh that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people
30:18 Satan shall have power over the hearts of the children of men no more, for a long time
31:3 For my soul delighteth in plainness; for after this manner doth the Lord God work
31:10 can we follow Jesus save we shall be willing to keep the commandments of the Father?
31:13 witnessing unto the Father that ye are willing to take upon you the name of Christ
31:16 endure to the end, in following the example of the Son of the living God,
31:17 do the things which I have told you I have seen that your Lord and your Redeemer should do
31:18 then are ye in this straight and narrow path which leads to eternal life
31:19 after ye have gotten into this straight and narrow path, I would ask if all is done?
31:20 ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope
31:21 there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the Kingdom of god
32:3 feast upon the words of Christ; for behold the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do
32:8 the evil spirit teacheth not a man to pray, but teacheth him that he must not pray
32:9 behold, I say unto you that ye must pray always, and not faint.
33:1 speaketh by the power of the Holy Ghost the power of the Holy Ghost carrieth it unto the hearts
33:6 I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell
33:10 if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ
33:11 And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye--for Christ will show unto you

1:7 come unto Christ, and partake of the goodness of God, that they might enter into his rest
1:17 taught them in the temple, having first obtained mine errand from the Lord
1:19 the sins of the people upon our own heads if we did not teach them the word of God
2:5 I can tell you concerning your thoughts, how that ye are beginning to labor in sin
